Bengaluru Traffic Advisory: The Bengaluru traffic police have issued a road diversion and restriction notification owing to ongoing construction work on a few routes and the influx of crowds due to Navratri festivities. The commuters will have to bear with the inconvenience for the next few days as traffic restrictions will remain in place for the upcoming few days.
In the wake of the festival celebration and several Durga Puja events at the Palace ground and ongoing white -topping work at Sajpur road, the Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) has announced the Bengaluru traffic advisory.
The traffic diversion will remain in place from September 28 to October 2.
Bengaluru Traffic Advisory: List Of Affected Roads
-Bellary Road Closed: Heavy traffic is expected on Bellary Road from September 28 to October 2 due to large-scale Navratri and Durga Puja events at the Palace Ground. To avoid delays, authorities recommend that commuters plan ahead, leave early, and explore alternate options
-A large crowd and increased vehicle movement around the venue may lead to traffic bottlenecks, particularly during peak evening hours. To mitigate this, traffic marshals will be stationed to help manage the movement.
-Sarjapur Road To Operate One-Way: Starting September 30, white-topping work will commence on Sarjapur Road, between Automart Junction and Agara Junction, lasting around two months. A one-sided closed road may cause inconvenience.
Bengaluru Traffic Advisory: Alternate Routes
For restrictions imposed on Sarjapur Road, vehicles from Outer Ring Road towards Koramangala can use the Agara Flyover upper ramp and take the service road at 19th Main Road or 14th Main Road upper ramp.
For those heading towards Automart, you can proceed to 14th Main Road Junction, take a right turn, and continue.

To ensure smooth vehicular movement, the traffic police have urged citizens to cooperate with the traffic personnel and follow signboards.
