Bengaluru Traffic Advisory: The Bengaluru Traffic Police on Thursday announced traffic diversions and restrictions, aiming to ease congestion on the Whitefield Hope Farm Main Road. The traffic restrictions are scheduled to come into effect from September 25.

Authorities have urged commuters to follow the advisory and cooperate with on-site traffic personnel to ensure smooth traffic flow in the area.

Bengaluru Traffic Advisory: Check Restrictions And Diversions

- According to the advisory released by the Whitefield Traffic Police Station, the U-Turn at the Royal Mart Junction on Whitefield Hope Farm Main Road will be closed for traffic movement from September 25.

- To facilitate smooth traffic flow following the closure of the U-Turn at Royal Mart Junction, alternative routes have been announced for commuters.

- Authorities have advised vehicles travelling from Ambedkar Gutte to Hope Farm to take Vijaynagar Road and continue through Munisingh Junction to reach Hope Farm and IITPL.

- In addition to this, vehicles heading from Royal Mart and Whitefield towards Ambedkar Gutte can proceed through Hope Farm to reach their destination.

Advisory For Commuters

- Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic - East Division), Shri Sahil Bagla, IPS, has urged commuters to extend their support with the new traffic arrangement to ensure smooth traffic flow.

- He further emphasised that these measures are aimed at easing traffic congestion and improving road safety in the area.

In another update, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has set an October 31 deadline to fix over 8000 potholes in Bengaluru. Under this, the Greater Bangalore Authority’s (GBA) five corporations have intensified road repair works to ensure pothole-free roads.
