Bengaluru Traffic Fines: In a move to encourage motorists to clear their pending e-challans, the Bengaluru Traffic Police on Thursday announced a 50 per cent discount on the pending traffic fines with the transport department.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the Bengaluru Traffic Police announced a 50 per cent rebate on pending fines in cases registered under the traffic e-challan by the Police Department, urging motorists to make the most of this limited-time opportunity. The concession will be available from Friday, November 21 to Friday, November 12.

“The Hon'ble State Government, through Government Order No: TD 27 TDO 2023, Bengaluru, dated: 20.11.2025, has issued an order granting a 50% concession on fines in cases registered under traffic e-challan by the Police Department that remain unpaid,” the Bengaluru Traffic Police wrote on X.

Bengaluru Traffic Fines: 50% Discount On E-Challans

The Bengaluru Traffic Police has suggested ways to view and pay the pending fines.

- Payment can be made through the Karnataka State Police (KSP) app.

- Payment can be made through the BTP ASTraM app introduced by the Bangalore Traffic Division.

- Payments can be paid by providing your vehicle registration number at the nearest traffic police station.

- Payments can be made at the Traffic Management Centre.

-  Details can be obtained and payment made on the Karnataka One Bangalore One website.

This marks the fifth time the Karnataka government has offered a rebate on traffic challans to encourage more vehicle owners to clear their pending dues. A similar technique was introduced in August this year, which turned out to be successful, with thousands of motorists clearing their dues.
