Bengaluru Weather: Bengaluru is gearing up for a pleasant weekend with partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures. Rain is forecasted for the city and surrounding areas of South Interior Karnataka as atmospheric pressure decreases. According to the Meteorological Department, intermittent showers are expected to last through Sunday, bringing cloudy skies and cooler weather to Bengaluru.

Nearby districts such as Chikkaballapur and Kolar may also experience occasional rainfall, with some areas possibly seeing isolated thunderstorms. Meteorologists predict that high humidity levels will contribute to short but moderate rainfall, especially in the mornings and evenings.

Dryer weather is anticipated to return by December 7, with Bengaluru expected to see clearer skies, lower humidity, and more stable conditions as the week progresses.

While there could be minor disruptions to daily routines in the mornings and evenings until the weather stabilises, no major warnings have been issued. The current rain is part of a seasonal shift, a typical occurrence as winter conditions begin to settle in the southern interior.

Light showers are expected to gradually ease as the atmospheric system weakens, with no rain forecast from next week onwards.

The IMD also noted that several districts, including Belgaum, Bidar, Vijayapura, Bengaluru city and rural areas, Mandya, Mysore, Chikkamagaluru, and Shivamogga, may experience a noticeable drop in temperatures in the coming days. However, the coastal districts of Mangalore, Udupi, and Uttara Kannada are likely to see light rain.

In addition to Karnataka, other states such as Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana are also expected to experience a drop in temperatures.
