Bengaluru Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has stated that Bengaluru is likely to witness light to moderate rain for the next two to three days. The weather department further stated that the city is also set to experience a significant drop in temperature. The residents are likely to witness mist and cold waves in the early hours, leading to inconveniences for the commuters due to lowered visibility. Apart from this, the coastal regions are also likely to receive heavy rainfall till December 6. The weather department has advised the residents to follow the guidelines and limit their outings to avoid inconveniences.
While providing details, the weather department stated that the tech city has witnessed a sharp drop in temperature in the first week of December because of a drop in air pressure. “Generally cloudy sky. Light to moderate rain/thunder showers are likely. Mist likely during early morning hours in some areas,” IMD stated in its post on X (formerly Twitter). While the maximum temperature of Bengaluru is likely to be calculated at 26 degrees Celsius, the minimum temperature is expected to remain around 18 degrees Celsius.
