Bhavnagar Accident: At Least Six Dead, 10 Injured After Bus Rams Into Dumper Truck On Bhavnagar-Talaja Highway In Gujarat

At least six people were killed and 10 injured in a horrific accident that took place in Gujarat, at the Bhavnagar-Talaja highway. The accident happened after a private bus and a truck collided violently on the Bhavnagar-Talaja highway near Trapaj village of Talaja taluka. The injured were shifted to hospital following the accident.

The accident took place near Trapaj village at around 6 AM when the bus was on its way towards Mahuva from Bhavnagar, Superintendent of Police Harshad Patel said. The bus hit the dumper truck from behind.

According to the officials, the accident was so severe that it completely damaged the front portion of the bus.

Meanwhile, in another separate incident that took place in Uttar Pradesh's Yamuna Expressway, at least four people lost their lives and one got seriously injured in a collision between two cars on the Yamuna Expressway on Tuesday.

The accident took place when the victims were on their way to Noida.

SHO of Khandauli police station Rakesh Kumar told PTI that the "accident took place on the intervening night of Monday-Tuesday at around 1.30 AM on Yamuna Expressway."
