Meanwhile, opposition leaders continued to protest inside the Bihar Assembly over the Chief Minister's derogatory words where he explained the role of education and role of women in population control.
Earlier after the CM's speech went viral on social media, the BJP Bihar unit criticised the remarks and labelled him as "the most vulgar politician in the history of Indian politics" and called for a ban on his double-meaning dialogues in public.
BJP leader Giriraj Singh while attacking Nitish Kumar said that he had lost his mental balance and was unfit to represent a civilised society, and urged him to resign.
Rekha Sharma, Chairperson of the National Commission for Women (NCW), also demanded an apology from Nitish Kumar, stating that his remarks were an insult to the dignity and respect every woman deserves. The NCW called for accountability against such derogatory language in a democracy.
