Bihar Earthquake: After Delhi-NCR was jolted during wee hours on Monday, an earthquake of magnitude 4.0 hit Bihar at 8:02 am. According to the National Centre for Seismology, earthquake tremors were felt in Siwan in the state. The epicentre was 10 km in depth, it stated.

There were no immediate reports of any damage or injuries due to the earthquake.
Earthquake In Delhi
The earthquake in Delhi, which lasted for a few seconds, led to people rushing out of their homes and offices as a precautionary measure.
According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake had a magnitude of 4.0 and occurred on 17 February 2025 at 5:36 AM IST. The epicentre was recorded in New Delhi at a depth of 5 km, with coordinates 28.59°N latitude and 77.16°E longitude.

Although the tremors were strong enough to be felt in residential and commercial areas, there have been no reports of significant damage or casualties. Many residents took to social media to share their experiences, with some posting videos of ceiling fans and household objects shaking.
