Now people will not have to visit the District Transport Department (DTO) for a Learning Driving License (Temporary DL). Applicants will be able to take the test sitting at home. This service can be availed in other districts including Bhagalpur from July. This new facility will not only save your time but you will also get rid of the middlemen.
Applicants will have to link their Aadhaar after joining the Sarathi software site. After this, you will have to pay the online fee and take the exam on a computer. If successful in the examination, you will be able to upload the license yourself.
You Will Get Date Of Test After Applying
Applications for learning and permanent driving licenses are being taken online. To get a learning license, the applicant's Aadhar card should be linked to his mobile number. As soon as the Aadhaar number is entered on the Sarathi portal, the name, address, and mobile number of the applicant will be mentioned.

After submitting the online fee, you will get the date of the online examination along with One Time Password (OTP). After this, the applicants will be able to give the test sitting at home. One you pass the test, you will get the learning license while sitting at home, but while giving the test, if any movement of another person is seen in the camera or it senses any type of cheating, you will automatically fail the test.
How To Get Learning License Online?
1. Visit https://sarathi.parivahan.gov.in/
2. Select concerned state
3. Click on "Online Learners' License Test (STALL)" from "Learner License" menu
4. Enter "Learners' License Application", "Date of Birth" and Password
5. Click on the Login Button to proceed

Watch Videos Before The Test
There is no need to worry about taking the driving license test at home. The Transport Department will provide simple ways to give online tests on the Sarathi portal. A tutorial video related to traffic rules will also be available before giving the test. There will also be complete information about the questions asked during the test.
For example, which sign is used on the road for what reason, which is the sign for turning left, railway gate, school, ambulance, and what should be the speed of the vehicle? While giving the test, answers will have to be given within the stipulated time.
