Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the redeveloped Deshnoke Station under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme and flagged off the Bikaner-Mumbai Express train on Thursday in Bikaner, Rajasthan. The Bikaner to Bandra Terminus (Mumbai) Express will begin its regular commercial service next week. After the flag-off, he interacted with school students and laid the foundation stone for several development projects worth Rs 26,000 crore across Rajasthan.
PM Modi also visited and offered prayers at the Karni Mata Temple in Deshnoke.
The Prime Minister virtually inaugurated 103 redeveloped Amrit Stations located in 86 districts across 18 States and Union Territories of India. These stations have been developed at a cost of over Rs 1,100 crore. Under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, more than 1,300 stations are being redeveloped with modern facilities, designed to reflect regional architecture and enhance passenger amenities.

Bikaner-Mumbai Express Inaugural Train Routes, Distance And Travel Time
Train number 04707, the Bikaner–Mumbai Express, will operate up to Bandra Terminus. On Thursday, May 22, 2025, it will run as an Inaugural Special between Bikaner and Bandra Terminus, covering a distance of 1,213 km in 23 hours and 25 minutes.
Bikaner-Mumbai Express Inaugural Train Stoppages
The Bikaner to Bandra Terminus (Mumbai) Express will halt at 19 stations, including Deshnoke, Nokha, Nagaur, Merta Road Junction, Jodhpur, Pali Marwar, Marwar Junction, Falna, Abu Road, Palanpur, Mahesana, Sabarmati BG, Nadiad, Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Vapi, and Borivali.

Bikaner-Mumbai Express Inaugural Train Couches, Ticket Price
The inaugural special train service from Bikaner to Bandra Terminus (Mumbai) will feature a total of 18 coaches, including 16 Third AC Economy coaches and 2 Power Cars. The fare for traveling on the Bikaner to Bandra Terminus (Mumbai) Express is Rs 1,365 for AC 3 Economy (3E) Class.
