A political row erupted in Bihar as BJP accused RJD leader and ex-deputy CM of the state, Tejaswi Yadav, of stealing items while vacating the official Deputy Chief Minister's residence in Patna, Bihar. Satrudhan Kumar, the personal secretary to Bihar’s present Deputy Chief Minister, Samrat Choudhary, claimed that several items were missing from the residence as Tejashwi vacated the house. Kumar alleged that several items, including a sofa, air conditioners, plant pots and taps have been missing from the official bungalow.
The official residence has been allotted to Samrat Chowdhary after Tejaswi vacated the residence on Sunday. The BJP further claimed that even gym equipment and the floor mat of the badminton court are also missing.
The saffron party has claimed that they will soon release the list of the items that go missing from the official residence since Tejashwi vacated the residence.
Earlier, Rouse Avenue court granted bail to Rashtriya Janata Dal head and former Bihar chief minister Lalu Prasad, his sons Tejashwi Yadav and Tej Pratap Yadav in a land-for-jobs case. The court granted the relief to the family on a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh each. The next hearing of the case is on October 25.

Tejashwi Yadav claimed that the bail from the court is a victory, and there was nothing concrete in the case. "They keep indulging in political conspiracy. They misuse agencies. There is nothing concrete in this case. Our victory is certain...," Tejashwi Yadav said.
Lalu, Tejashwi, and Tej Pratap appeared before the court as they were summoned by the court earlier. The judge issued the summons after taking cognisance of a supplementary charge sheet. The ED filed its case based on an FIR lodged by the CBI, and the final report was filed by the ED on August 6.
