India is hosting a two-day meeting of BRICS Foreign Ministers in Delhi. External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar is chairing the meeting. Foreign Ministers of BRICS countries and heads of delegations from member and partner countries are participating. The theme of India's BRICS presidency this year is "Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability".
The BRICS group, which includes 11 full members - Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, as well as new members like Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, along with 10 partner countries, accounts for over 40 per cent of the global economy on a purchasing power parity (PPP) basis.

The BRICS group comprises 11 countries: Brazil, China, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Iran, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, and the United Arab Emirates.

Who Is The Richest?
Here we'll look at a list of wealthy countries based on GDP per capita (per capita income). According to IMF data for 2024, the UAE tops the list with a per capita income of USD 50,273.5.
