Delhi Traffic Alert: Ahead of the motorcade rehearsal for the BRICS Summit 2026, the Delhi Traffic police have announced traffic diversions on major routes in Delhi from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday. The authority has advised the commuters to follow the guidelines and plan their travel accordingly to avoid inconveniences. Apart from this, the residents have also been advised to maximise the use of public transportation during the peak hours.

The restrictions have been announced in the several key regions during the peak hours, a decision likely to trouble the daily commuters. The authorities have been preparing for the BRICS summit, scheduled to be held on September 12-13.

Commuters Advised To Follow Guidelines

As per the advisory, restriction has been announced for 22 routes of the capital city due to the conference. However, the vehicular movement will be regularized in the evening hours, the traffic police assured. It further advised the commuters to follow the guidelines and consult to the deployed ground officials in case of any confusion.
