The block imposed on Line Number One (Platform Number One) at Chandigarh Railway Station under the Ambala Division for completing the remaining foundation work of the through-roof structure, as part of the Chandigarh Station Upgradation project being undertaken by the Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA), was lifted on February 9. Passengers had been facing inconvenience due to the change of platforms.
Due to this, train platforms were reassigned. The work carried out during the block period has now been completed, and train berthing at Chandigarh Railway Station is being resumed as per the approved berthing plan. Platforms for trains operating in both up and down directions from Chandigarh Station have now been reassigned.
The following platforms have been decided for the trains.
Under Platform Number One, train numbers 18102, 18310, 14631, 11905, 18309, 18101, 14504, 19307, 12006, 18310, 14610, 12411, 20493, 18309, 12058, 12412, 14630, 14218, 15903, 22685, 18101, 14332, 22456, 22451, 22355, 14504, 14796, 14616, 12449, 12984, 22356, 19307, 19412, 74992, 15904, 19307, 12005, 19411, 22447, 64563, 14615, 14795, 12011, 22455, 22448, 12925, 19308, 74645, 12012, 12057, 54531, 12005, 14331, 14609, 12045 and 12926 will arrive.
Similarly, under Platform Number Two, train numbers 12312, 14610, 14632, 11906, 12058, 14332, 14796, 19412, 64564, 22710, 14503, 15532, 14542, 14541, 15063 and 15064 will arrive.
Under Platform Number Three, train numbers 14629, 12411, 15531, 12232, 12412, 14630, 14616, 74992, 74991, 22709, 54532, 12217, 20989, 20990, 64516, 15011 and 15012 will arrive.
Under Platform Number Four, train numbers 12311, 20493, 12983, 12231, 14218, 22456, 12449 and 15904 will arrive.
Under Platform Number Five, train numbers 22686, 22452, 20494, 14217, 15903, 22451 and 12984 will arrive.
Train numbers 12450, 12218, 20977, 20978, 22685, 22355, 22356 and 12046 will arrive at Platform Number Six.
