Char Dham Yatra: After a six-month break, Baba Kedarnath Dham's portals are prepared for a grand opening on Friday, May 10. Popular tourist destinations like Sonprayag and Gaurikund are attracting large crowds in anticipation of the portal's opening, most of them are traveling in the direction of the Kedarnath Dham.

Many pilgrims were seen walking towards the shrine from Gaurikund, while others were seen waiting for their turn to reserve rides on horses or mules. Preparations for the ceremonial opening of Kedarnath Dham's gates began early, with prayer and mantra chanting.

Forty quintals of flowers have been used to beautify the temple, according to the president of the Badrinath-Kedarnath temple committee. The Panchmukhi Doli of Lord Kedarnath earlier left its third destination, the Gauramai Temple in Gaurikund, for Kedarnath Dham.

The Devdoli arrived at Shri Omkareshwar Temple Ukhimath from Shri Vishwanath Temple Guptkashi on May 6 for its stay. The next day, on May 7, it arrived at its second destination, Phata.
