Chennai Weather: Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rain for Chennai on December 18 and 19, triggered by a low-pressure system. The weather body has also issued an orange alert for heavy downpour till December 20 for five Tamil Nadu districts, including: Kancheepuram, Tiruvallur, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, and Cuddalore.
