According to the IMD's GFS Model, the system could deepen into a depression by November 24, and then become a deep depression or cyclonic storm by November 25. It is predicted to diminish as it approaches the Tamil Nadu coast around November 27.
According to the NCEP GFS Model, the system might develop into a severe cyclonic storm by November 25, maintaining its intensity until November 27 before decreasing upon impact.
