Chhattisgarh Assembly Election 2023:  As the poll dates are nearing in the state of Chhattisgarh, Union Home Minister and senior BJP leader Amit Shah unveiled the party's election manifesto titled 'Modi Ki Guarantee' in an election rally at Raipur. Eyeing to woo the youth, farmers and women, schemes such as Mahtari Vandan Scheme, 1 lakh government jobs, end of recruitment exam rigging in CGPSC, Krushak Unnati Yojna under which the minimum support price of paddy will be Rs 3,100, and increased rates for Tendupatta leaves, have been promised.

While launching the manifesto, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that BJP assured the people here that we will make Chhattisgarh a fully developed state in the coming five years. Amit Shah also said that this is not our manifesto, it is a resolution letter for us. Shah, while attacking CM Bhupesh Baghel, said that he is unmatched in the entire country in spreading false propaganda. Shah said that the CM ran the government for five years based on sheer propaganda, whereas, he only committed scams in his tenure.

The Union Home Minister said that in the last 5 years, the Bhupesh Baghel government proved to be a failure in terms of law and order. He had made more than 300 promises, which were not fulfilled.

Major Schemes and Promises:

1. Mahtari Vandan Scheme: Under the 'Mahatari Van Yojana', every married woman of the state will be provided annual financial assistance of ₹ 12,000.

2. Krishak Unnati Yojna: 21 quintals per acre of paddy will be purchased for ₹3,100. Ensuring complete payment of farmers' money in one go. Cash withdrawal counters of banks will be established in every Panchayat building. Availability of gunny bags will be ensured even before paddy procurement in the state.

3. Tendupatta collection rate and bonus:

  •  Tendupatta will be collected at ₹5,500 per standard bag.
  •  Collection will be increased from existing days to 15 days.
  •  Additionally, collectors will be given a bonus of up to ₹ 4,500.
  •  Stagecoach and other facilities will be provided again.

4. Ayushman Bharat - Swastha Chhattisgarh: The annual limit under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Aarogya Yojana (Ayushana Bharat) will be doubled from ₹ 5 lakh to ₹ 10 lakh per family. we will ensure the availability of 500 new Jan Aushad medicines in the state.

Earlier, Congress had launched their manifesto which was also targeted at the youth, women and farmers.
