Whereas, a senior police official said that the parents of Dr Madan have been informed and are on their way to the campus. However, the requests to delve into further information about the CCTV or any leads were declined.
The police are scanning the CDR of Dr Madan Kumar's mobile and finding out with whom he last talked. The point of dispute with his colleagues is also being investigated.
Junior Doctor's Association levels serious allegations:
Amid the tense situation and lack of clarity over the cause of the death of Dr. Madan Kumar M, the Junior Doctor's Association (JDA) of RIMS wrote a letter to the institute's director, demanding a high-level investigation and the dismissal of incompetent staff from the college. The letter, a copy of which was uploaded on X by Kundan Pal, raises not only deep suspicions about Madan's death but also levels serious allegations against the RIMS administration.
The second point in the letter questions the speculations surrounding the labelling of the death as a suicide and asks, "If there is no homicide, then why were no inflammable or any containers, as well as a lighter or matchstick, found in and around the area where the body was discovered?" The letter also makes a serious revelation that the hostels in the college are exposed to miscreants who constantly roam around.
"The hostel campus is always exposed to outside people who engage in mischief, eve-teasing, thefts, give threats to resident doctors, and also enter hostels intoxicated. Additionally, they engage in ganja smoking and drink alcohol around the hostel areas," the letter alleges.
The situation will become more clear after post-mortem and investigation.
