CJP Protest: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigned from his post on Saturday, following protests by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) at Jantar Mantar. The entire CJP team was overjoyed with the Education Minister's resignation.
Meanwhile, CJP members protesting at Jantar Mantar were filled with enthusiasm. Students celebrated the Education Minister's resignation by dancing and raising slogans. Addressing the protesters, Abhijeet Dipke, the founder of CJP, said that this was the movement's first major success and that public solidarity forced the government to take this decision.

"I want to say something very important. Don't make me a hero because Dharmendra Pradhan resigned today. Don't make this mistake. Don't make me a hero because of Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation. The country has been ruined because of making one person a hero," he added.
What Next For CJP?
The protest will not end until the demands are met, Dipke said, adding that the government has to respond to democratically raised voices. He appealed to the CJP supporters to continue the protest, saying that the protest will not end until the organisation's remaining demands are met. He said, "We are cockroaches, we won't go away easily."
What Are The Two Other Demands?
He reiterated their previous demands, seeking compensation of Rs 1 crore each for the families of NEET students who lost their lives. Dipke also demanded action against police personnel who assaulted protesters during the July 20 protest.
CJP chief spokesperson Sourav Das, regarding potential talks with the government, stated that the organisation is ready for dialogue.

What Activist Sonam Wangchuk Said
Following the resignation of Pradhan, activist Sonam Wangchuk, who held a hunger strike for 26 days, shared his first reaction on X.

Congratulations CJP, Gen Z of the nation and thank you all citizens for shedding fear and the fear of fear and rising up from every corner of the nation.
