The Indian Railways have cancelled several trains in the coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh due to cyclone Michaung. The 12511 Gorakhpur - Kochuveli Express train was canceled on December 3. Similarly, the 12512 Kochuveli to Gorakhpur line will not run on December 6. The Chennai-Lucknow Express, No. 16093, will remain canceled on December 5. The 16094 Lucknow-Chennai Express, on the other hand, will not run on December 7th.
Railways has canceled the No. 15026 Anand Vihar Mau Express on the 8, 15, 22, 29 December, 5, 12, 19, 26 January, 2, 9, 16, 23 February, and 1 March owing to fog situation.
Air Services Affected
Fog continues to disrupt air services. On Saturday, the 8:10 p.m. flight from Lucknow to Delhi was 58 minutes late. Similarly, IndiGo's 3:10 PM flight is 35 minutes, the 1:30 PM flight is 2:30 hours, and the Delhi-Lucknow flight is 7:30 PM. The Air India flight lasts 40 minutes, while the Indigo flight departs at 6:16 PM. The 6:28 PM Lucknow-Mumbai flight could fly for 2 hours, the 2:52 PM flight could fly for 1:20 hours, and the 12:34 PM flight could fly for 2:30 hours.
Special Trains Update
Railways will operate a special train between Kamakhya and New Delhi. The special train 05624 will leave Kamakhya at 11 PM on December 4 and arrive in New Delhi at noon on December 5 via Lucknow at 3 PM. The special train 05623 will leave New Delhi at 3:10 p.m. on December 6 and arrive in Kamakhya at 11:35 PM via Lucknow.
