DDA Golf Course Membership: The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has invited applications for tenure memberships ranging from three to five years at its newly constructed golf course in Dwarka Sector 24. The authorities had provided over 2,000 playing rights in a variety of categories following the opening of the 18-hole public championship golf course in December the previous year.

These included, corporates, PSUs, senior government officials, candidates with golf handicap certificates, and ordinary applicants, among others.

Officials said that although applications for membership were received in certain categories, others were left unfilled. "We have uploaded the details on the DDA website specifying the process to apply for membership as well as the circular specifying categories, fees, tenure and other highlights," said an official.

A five-year membership for private persons costs Rs 2,200 a month in addition to an initial entry fee of Rs 9 lakh.

In addition to the same monthly payments, those who choose a three-year membership would have to pay an entry fee of Rs 6 lakh.

Government personnel are eligible for special prices, which include an admission fee of Rs 3 lakh for five years and Rs 2 lakh for three years, as well as a reduced monthly charge of Rs 1,500.

Out of the 2,000 subscriptions, 200 are allocated for government employees.
