As tensions heightened between India and Pakistan due to the cross-border activities, shattered remains, believed to be parts of Pakistani ammunition, were found in several locations, including Bathinda and Hoshiarpur in Punjab and Jaisalmer in Rajasthan.
The remains of Pakistan's projectiles were discovered a day after India neutralised attempts at drone attacks by Pakistan. More than 50 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were intercepted and neutralised during a large-scale counter-drone operation conducted by Indian Army Air Defence units in several locations.
Fragments of intercepted ordnance were found in Bathinda and Hoshiarpur in Punjab and Jaisalmer in Rajasthan, proving that Pakistan’s attempts to attack India were thwarted. Investigative teams are on-site to analyse the fragments and ascertain their exact nature and origin.
A missile was found in Hoshiarpur; local police rushed to the spot after receiving the information.

Reports claimed that a large, missile-like object was discovered in Bhathinda’s Beed Talab area. The object, bigger than a large drum, was found by the local residents. Its unusual size and appearance prompted immediate concerns. However, officials are yet to confirm the event, as the video of the debris could not be ascertained.
A projectile-like object was also found in Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer. Security officials are on the site as an investigation is underway to ascertain further information about the fragments.

Authorities are expected to provide updates as the investigation unfolds, while residents in border areas are advised to stay alert and follow official channels for information.
Border areas are on a high alert in Punjab, Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir as Pakistan threatened to retaliate against Operation Sindoor after the Indian Armed Forces hit terror camps at nine locations in Pakistan and POK.
