Delhi: A 19-year-old was allegedly shot dead by three minors in Delhi's Shahdara after an argument over a minor dispute. The incident took place on Saturday in the Kailash Nagar area. As per the police, an argument broke out between the victim, identified as Sufian, and the accused over a cap. The victim reportedly slapped two minor boys, enraging the two to plot his murder.

“A PCR call reporting a shooting was received at the Gandhi Nagar police station. Teams were rushed to the spot immediately. The victim was identified as Sufian and had suffered serious injuries. He was rushed to Jag Pravesh Hospital, where he was declared dead,” said a police officer, as quoted by news agency PTI.

Delhi police registered a case of murder and apprehended three juveniles from different locations in Delhi and Ghaziabad. Police are also on the lookout for one more suspect and the mother of one of the accused, who allegedly provided the pistol to her minor son.

A scooter suspected to be used for the crime and a country-made pistol has been recovered from their possession, police said.

In another, unrelated incident recently, a 40-year-old man and his teenage nephew were shot dead in Shahdara while celebrating Diwali outside their residence after an armed man opened fire at them outside their house in the Farsh Bazar area. The victims were identified as Akash Sharma, Chottu, and his nephew, Rishabh Sharma, aged 16. Akash's son, Krish Sharma, also sustained bullet injuries during the attack.

All victims were rushed to the hospital, where Akash and Rishabh were declared dead.

"The team found blood at the spot," the official was quoted as saying by the Times of India. The attackers touched Akash Sharma's feet before opening fire, eyewitnesses informed the police.

CCTV footage of the incident shows a man coming on a two-wheeler and touching the feet of Akash Sharma. He then opened fire at Sharma in a while, killing him and injuring his son. Sharma's nephew was also shot dead as he ran behind the shooters.
