Delhi School Bomb Threats:  As many as 30 schools in Delhi received bomb threats on Friday via email. However, nothing suspicious was found after thorough searches conducted by multiple agencies in any of these schools, officials said.

The recent threats come after 44 schools received identical emails on December 9. Those threats had been deemed fake by the police.

The Delhi Police's Special Cell has filed a criminal intimidation and conspiracy case, although it has not yet received any leads regarding the perpetrators.

Similar e-mail threats were sent to over 250 hospitals, schools, and other facilities in May; the problem has not yet been resolved.

Arvind Kejriwal, the former chief minister of Delhi, reacted to the incident by pointing out that it was the second incident in a week and how the children would be affected by the bomb threats.

A Delhi Fire Services official said, "We received calls (regarding the threat e-mails) from the Bhatnagar International School in Paschim Vihar (4:21 am), Cambridge School in Sriniwaspuri (6:23 am) and DPS Amar Colony in East of Kailash (6:35 am)."

"(Calls were also received) from the South Delhi Public School in Defence Colony (7:57 am), Delhi Police Public School in Safdarjung (8:02 am) and Venkateshwar Global School in Rohini (8:30 am)," he added.

According to the official, the police, fire department, bomb-detection teams, and dog squads hurried to the schools and carried out a comprehensive inspection.

According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Southeast) Ravi Singh, who spoke to PTI Videos, they checked and followed security procedures, but nothing unusual was discovered, and it is thought to be a hoax.
