RBI Bomb Threat: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has received a bomb threat via email, marking the second such incident in December. This latest threat, written in Russian, was sent to the central bank's official website on Thursday afternoon, warning of an impending explosion.
The Mumbai police have opened an investigation into the matter, registering a case against the unknown sender at the Mata Ramabai Marg police station. Authorities are actively working to identify the individual behind the email threat. This incident follows a similar bomb threat received on November 16, where a caller, claiming to be the "CEO of Lashkar-e-Taiba," issued a threat while singing a song over the phone. The Lashkar-e-Taiba group is infamous for the 2008 Mumbai attacks.

Officials stated that detailed checks were underway at the affected schools. The email included specific dates, warning that "December 13-14 could be the days when your school will face a bomb blast." It further demanded a reply to the email, threatening that bombs would be detonated if their demands were not met.
