Delhi Air Pollution: The air quality of Delhi-NCR got severely affected a day after Diwali, leading to suffocation and poor visibility. The air quality worsened as the residents continued burning the green firecrackers even after the deadline of two hours set by the Supreme Court. According to a Central Pollution Control Bureau (CPCB) bulletin, the Air Quality Index (AQI) in most of the regions was recorded at around 350. The state health ministry has advised the residents to follow the guidelines and limit their outings to avoid any inconveniences. However, the residents can use different categories of face masks to avoid serious damage to the respiratory system.
