General Administration Department, Government of Delhi issues a notice. "To address security concerns and the safety of records, it is requested that no files/documents, Computer Hardware etc. may be taken outside Delhi Secretariat complex without permission from GAD. It is therefore directed that necessary directions may be issued to the concerned Branch In-charges under the Departments/Offices situated in Delhi Secretariat to ensure safety of records, files, documents, electronic files etc. under their section/branches.", reads the notice

"Delhiites have shown that the public cannot be misled by repeated false promises. The public has responded to the dirty Yamuna, dirty drinking water, broken roads, overflowing sewers and liquor shops open in every street with their votes. Senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia has conceded defeat as the counting of votes concluded for the Jangpura assembly seat. BJP's Tarvinder Singh secured the seat by a margin of 639 votes.

AAP's Pardeep Mittal has taken the lead in Rohini as Vijender Gupta falls back. BJP leader Gupta was leading as per early trends but was overtaken by Mittal.

In early trends, BJP has amassed 49.21 per cent votes while AAP garnered 42.66 per cent votes.

AAP leaders Satyender Jain and Saurabh Bhardwaj are leading in early trends amid the counting of votes in Delhi. Jain is contesting from the Shakurbasti seat while Bhardwaj has been fielded from Greater Kailash.,

Ahead of the counting of votes for the Delhi Assembly elections, Delhi Police have enhanced security measures at every counting centre from proper personnel deployment to using drones. Speaking to media, Joint Commissioner of Police, Southern Range, Sanjay Kumar Jain said that a four-tier security cordon has been inducted at the counting centre.
