Red Fort Blast: Investigating officers who are probing the Delhi’s Red Fort blast, which took place on November 10, have found terror links which have led to Mumbai. The local police have arrested a woman, identified as Kalpana Bhagwat from Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, and are currently investigating her for her alleged role in the blast. At the time of her arrest, the woman was living at a luxury hotel.
According to the police, as quoted by Jagran.com, the woman was living under a false identity as an IAS officer. She is also suspected of having links to the Pakistani military and individuals in Afghanistan.
The police further said that Kalpana was in Delhi on November 10 when the blast occurred, putting her on the list of prime suspects. During the hearing for her remand today, the police added that while the woman was staying at the hotel for the past six months, she was present in Delhi during the blasts.

Cheque Of Rs 19 Crore Found From Hotel Room
During the investigation of the hotel room, the police also found a cheque of Rs 19 crore and another cheque of Rs 6 lakh in the hotel room where the woman was residing before her arrest.
The woman also had 10 international phone numbers, some of which belonged to places in Afghanistan and Peshawar. Phone numbers of Pakistan Army Officials, including the Peshawar Army Cantonment Board and the Afghan Embassy, were also found in possession of the woman.

Fake IAS Appointment Letter
Besides a large sum of money, a fake IAS appointment letter was also found in the woman's possession, along with a faulty Aadhaar card.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a large sum of money, which was seized by the police, was wired to her account from her boyfriend’s account, Ashraf Khalil and his brother, Aved Khalil. The woman's boyfriend is from Pakistan, while her brother lives in Afghanistan.
