Delhi Blast News: In a major update in the Delhi blast that killed 12 and injured many, the officials reportedly stated that the incident was linked to the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). The reports suggest that Shaheen Shahid, the doctor from Lucknow arrested for her alleged involvement in the incident, was in contact with the female wing of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). Apart from this, she was also reportedly close to Dr Muzammil Ganaie, who was arrested following the recovery of 360 kg of explosives from his rented accommodation in Faridabad. The home ministry has handed over the case to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) after suspecting a possible terror attack.

The security forces on Tuesday arrested Shaheen Shahid and informed that an AK-47 was also recovered from her car. Shahid's car was being used to transport all the explosives and weapons used in the blast, reported Jagran.Com. Apart from this, she was connected with Jamaat-ul-Mominat, the female wing of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), reported NDTV. The reports also suggest that the Lucknow doctor was given the responsibility of luring the women to join the terrorist organisation.
