Delhi Red Fort Blast News: In a major update in the Delhi blast case, the initial findings reportedly suggest that the suspect triggered an explosion in panic, indicating that it was not a suicide attack. The reports also suggest that the crime was committed under severe pressure due to the raids by the security agencies in several key cities. Apart from this, the suspect also did not follow the usual pattern of the suicide attack as he did not collided the car with any object intentionally. The home ministry on Tuesday handed over the case to the National Investigative Agency (NIA), considering it a possible act of terror.

The continuous raids by the security agencies in several key cities led to the explosion in panic, reported news agency ANI, citing sources. The initial findings suggest that the impact of the explosion was limited as the bomb was still premature and not fully developed. Apart from this, the agencies could not find any projectiles at the site and the vehicle was still moving when the blast occured.

The initial findings also suggest that the suspect did not follow the pattern of the suicide bombing as the vehicle was not collided intentionally with any object. The reports also suggest that the IED was not equipped to cause heavy casualties and the suspect acted in panic due to the multiple raids.

While the exact reasons behind the explosion is not known yet, the home ministry has handed over the issue to the anti-terror agency NIA (National Investigation Agency). The decision came after Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a high-level meeting with top officials from the Intelligence Bureau, NIA and Delhi Police.

Instructed them to hunt down each and every culprit behind this incident. Everyone involved in this act will face the full wrath of our agencies,” Amit Shah stated in his post on X (formerly Twitter).
