- Eyewitnesses informed the police that a woman was driving the BMW when it rammed into the motorcycle from behind, News18 reported.

- The victim’s son alleged that a delay in medical attention worsened the situation. “My parents were travelling on a bike around 1 PM when a BMW X5, driven by a girl, hit them. They were taken to a hospital 22 km away. If they had been taken to a nearby hospital, my father could have been saved. My mother is severely injured,” he said.

- Police confirmed that both vehicles have been seized, the crash site has been inspected by the crime team, and forensic experts were brought in to assist the investigation.

- A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered, with additional sections related to destruction and concealment of evidence included. This came after the victim’s son questioned why his parents were taken to a hospital nearly 22 km away instead of one nearby. He also alleged negligence by hospital staff during admission.

- Police stated that the couple had in fact been taken to a hospital roughly 19 km from the crash site.

- Investigators also revealed that the hospital where the victims were taken was linked to someone known to the accused couple, raising concerns of possible evidence tampering.

- Witnesses confirmed that Gagandeep was driving the BMW at the time of the crash. After the incident, she and her husband took a taxi to escort the injured victims to the hospital. Officials have confirmed that both were injured and are currently receiving treatment.

- Both vehicles remain seized as part of the investigation. The crime team has examined the accident site, and forensic experts have been involved. Delhi Police stated that legal proceedings have begun, an FIR has been registered, and the probe is ongoing to reconstruct the exact chain of events.
