The victim’s son, Navjot Singh, alleged that the delay in medical treatment worsened the situation. “My parents were travelling on a bike around 1 PM when a BMW X5, driven by a girl, hit them. They were taken to a hospital 22 km away. If they had been taken to a nearby hospital, my father could have been saved. My mother is severely injured,” he said.

According to witnesses, a woman was driving the BMW at the time of the accident. She and her husband, both residents of Gurugram, hired a taxi after the crash to take the injured to hospital. Officials confirmed that the driver and her husband also suffered injuries and are admitted for treatment. The husband is said to be engaged in business.
