Delhi CM Rekha Gupta Attends Bhajan Event At Jhandewalan Temple On Chaitra Navratri

On the auspicious first day of Chaitra Navratri, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta attended a bhajan clubbing event at Jhandewalan Temple, where she experienced a unique blend of devotion to Maa Adi Shakti and music.

Highlighting the significance of the event, the Chief Minister said that the devotional atmosphere, filled with hymns and praises of Maa, created a spiritually uplifting experience.

The Chief Minister also noted that such innovative cultural expressions plays an important role in connecting the youth with the timeless Sanatan tradition, while fostering faith, energy, and self-confidence among them.

Chaitra Navratri marks the beginning of the nine-day festival dedicated to Goddess Durga and her nine forms.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday extended heartfelt greetings on the auspicious occasions of Navratri, Gudi Padwa, Ugadi and Cheti Chand. In two separate posts on X, the PM expressed wishes on the first day of Navratri, praying for discipline, peace and positive energy for everyone.
