The Delhi Police has intensified its investigation into the largest cocaine seizure in the city’s history worth over Rs 7,000 crore. As part of their efforts, the police issued look-out circulars (LOCs) against six individuals, including an Indian-origin national from the UK who reportedly fled the country before the recovery of 208 kg of drug worth Rs 2,000 crore in West Delhi.

“As of now, we have issued LOCs against half a dozen people, some of them foreign nationals. One of them is the person who kept 208 kg of cocaine hidden in west Delhi's Ramesh Nagar and fled to the UK," a police officer told news agency PTI.

UK national Savinder Singh has come under scrutiny following his arrival in India last month to oversee the transportation of a 208-kg consignment of drugs, suspected to have been brought from South America, news agency PTI reported citing police sources.

Singh reportedly spent nearly 25 days in various locations across Delhi before fleeing back to the UK, soon after the arrest of four alleged members of the syndicate on October 2. The Delhi Police said that dozens of people are on the radar.
