Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, along with popular singer Mika Singh, took part in a election rally in Majnu Ka Tilla under the Chandni Chowk Assembly Constituency. The rally, held ahead of the upcoming Delhi Assembly Elections on February 5, saw the duo singing a song to energize the crowd and gather support for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
Mann, who is actively campaigning for the AAP ahead of the Delhi polls, campaigned for Punardeep Singh Sawhney and expressed confidence in the party's success in the elections.

Sawhney is contesting from the Chandni Chowk constituency, aiming to bring about positive change in the area. The rally saw a huge crowd of supporters showing their enthusiasm for the party’s vision. AAP leader Raghav Chadha was also present at the event.
The Delhi Assembly Election will take place on February 5, and the results will be declared on February 8, as political campaigns across the city heat up. By involving key leaders like Mann and influential figures like Mika Singh in the poll campaign, AAP is looking to make significant strides in the upcoming election, hoping to win the confidence of voters in Chandni Chowk and other parts of the national capital.
Earlier in the day, at least eight AAP MLAs joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in a major setback for Arvind Kejriwal days before the elections. The move came just a day after they submitted their mass resignation. The MLAs who joined the BJP include Girish Soni from Madipur, Naresh Yadav from Mehrauli, Rohit Kumar from Trilokpuri, Rajesh Rishi from Janakpuri, Madan Lal from Kasturba Nagar, Pawan Sharma from Adarsh Nagar, BS Joon from Bijwasan, and Bhawna Goud from Palam.
The MLAs shared their resignation letters on social media and expressed disappointment with the party’s direction and over the "growing corruption in the party" and its deviation from the values and principles on which it was founded.
AP’s national spokesperson, Reena Gupta, slammed these MLAs, stating that a survey conducted by the party had found they were unreachable to the public in their constituencies.
"We did not give them tickets because of the unfavourable results of the survey. The fact that they are now joining another party after being refused tickets is not a huge deal. It is a part of politics,” she said.
