Delhi Rottweiler Attack: A violent clash broke out between two neighbours in the Welcome police station area in Shahdara after an argument over removing a bike parked outside a house. Following the altercation, a man, along with his family members, allegedly assaulted five neighbours with sticks and let loose their pet Rottweiler dog on them, causing serious injuries. The injured are currently undergoing treatment at GTB Hospital.

According to jagran.com, the incident occurred around 11:30 pm on Monday when Arvind Rathore stepped out to re-park his bike, which was blocking part of the street outside his house. His neighbour, Shalu Swami, was sitting on the bike with two friends. When Arvind asked him to move it, Shalu allegedly reacted aggressively and abused him.

Arvind returned home and informed his family about the incident. His son, Chetan Rathore, then called up Shalu to inquire about the incident and asked him to come out and meet in the street. When Chetan went out, he was allegedly assaulted by Shalu.

As Chetan’s family came out to help him, the situation escalated further. Shalu’s family members arrived with sticks, bringing their pet Rottweiler dog along. The family then let loose the pet dog on the Rathore family.

All injured were rushed to GTB Hospital for treatment. The dog, along with the accused, fled the scene after the attack. The Welcome police station officials are investigating the matter. Authorities confirmed that the dog had not been registered with the municipal corporation.
