As many as four people received burn injuries in an LPG cylinder blast in a house in west Kamal Vihar in Delhi’s Karawal Nagar. After receiving the information, as many as three fire tenders rushed to the spot. All four injured were taken to GTB Hospital where they are undergoing treatment. The police said that the cause of the fire and explosion is being ascertained.

“We got information about 7.30 pm about the explosion. Three fire tenders were pressed into the service. Four persons were injured. They were rushed to a nearby hospital,” a Delhi Fire Service official was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.
A few days back, a cylinder blast in southwest Delhi's Palam caused a fire that injured four family members as well as a tenant. Four fire tenders took two hours to extinguish the fire. The police received the information regarding the incident at 10 pm on Tuesday.
The injured in the incident were identified as 72-year-old Ram Bharose, 62-year-old Satya Narayan 48-year-old Radhe Shyam, his 47-year-old wife Chandra, and tenant Anil.
