Chhatarpur Metro Firing Incident: In a shocking incident, a man was shot at near Delhi's Chhatarpur metro station in south Delhi's Mehrauli area on Thursday afternoon. Police said the motorcycle-borne assailants attacked the man over an old enmity.
Arun Lohia - the victim - was travelling in his SUV when he was attacked around 1 pm near CDR Chowk. According to the police, the condition of Lohia is stated to be critical.
"It seems to be a case of old enmity. The accused and the victim are residents of the same village and are known to each other. There is a case history between the two parties," a senior police officer said.

10 Rounds Of Bullets Fired Near Metro Station
Police sources said that around 10 rounds were fired at the victim and he was rushed to a nearby hospital by police.
After the shooting incident, the entire area was cordoned off and multiple police teams rushed to the spot. A case is being registered in the matter and police started an investigation, said the official.
CCTV footage is being scanned to identify the attackers, he added.

In another case, Delhi Police on Thursday claimed to have solved a mobile snatching case, pertaining to an Indian national working in Saudi Arabia, in just five hours of the incident. However, the startling fact is that one of the two criminals caught by police was released a day before the crime, from Tihar jail.
