The incident has once again brought the dilapidated security in Red Fort to the fore front. This is however, not the first incident where security has been breached in the premises. In a previous case, seven Delhi Police personnel, including Constables and Head Constables, were suspended after they failed to detect a dummy bomb in the lead up to the pre-Independence Day celebrations.
