"The new academic block of the Social Center School at Delhi University was inaugurated. On this occasion, the honorable presence of Cabinet colleague Shri Ashish Sood ji, MLA Shri Surya Prakash Khatri ji, and Shri Ajay Mahawar ji was noted. India has been a country rich in the tradition of education. We must ensure that no student is deprived of quality education due to a lack of resources. Our government is committed to improving the quality of education from schools to universities. Soon, a special bus service will be started for university students, making their educational journey smoother and safer," Gupta said in an X post.

Delhi Colleges To Adopt Government Schools

Gupta directed Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood to prepare a blueprint for the mentorship initiative to boost community learning. The chief minister proposed that Delhi colleges adopt government schools.

"Why don't our colleges adopt two-three schools each where college students can go weekly and teach and motivate the school students?" she said, directing Sood to prepare a blueprint for the project.

While addressing the event, Sood said his government's priority is the democratisation of education across the city, ensuring access and equality in learning.
