The Delhi government increased Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificate charges for petrol, CNG and diesel vehicles. Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot announced on Thursday that the government has revised the pollution checking rates after 13 years, making it costlier to get pollution certificates for vehicles.

News Rates For PUC Certificates

  • Two and Three Wheelers: Charges for petrol, CNG or LPG (including biofuel) vehicles have been raised from Rs 60 to Rs 80.
  • Four Wheelers: Fees increased from Rs 80 to Rs 110.

"Considering the request from the Delhi Petrol Dealers Association and the fact that pollution checking rates have not been revised since 2011, the Delhi government has announced increasing the rates for pollution checking of vehicles in Delhi," Gahlot said.

The minister also noted that the revision is essential for pollution-checking stations to operate efficiently and continue providing quality services to the public.
