Delhi HC Bomb Threat: The Delhi High Court on Friday received a bomb threat email, prompting swift action by the Delhi Police. Judges, lawyers and staff of the court were evacuated as a precautionary measure as searches were carried out. A bomb disposal squad was rushed to site and the area has been cordoned off.
"The judges and lawyers were evacuated from the premises by 11:40 am. There is no confirmation as to when the courts shall resume," advocate Deeksha Mehrotra told The Daily Jagran.

The threat email mentions the Delhi High Court and is addressed to the staff of the High Court with the subject line, "Pakistan Tamil Nadu collude for Holy Friday blasts. 3 bombs planted in judge room/court premises. Evacuate by 2 pm."

Earlier on September 9, the Maulana Azad Medical College in the national capital and the Delhi Chief Minister's Secretariat received bomb threats, Delhi police said. According to Delhi Police, the threat, received via email, indicated a possible detonation at MAMC and the CM Secretariat. Delhi Police said that there was no specific mention in the email that was sent to the MAMC medical college dean. A bomb squad was deployed to the sites.
On August 21, at least six schools in Delhi received bomb threat emails, a day after a similar warning was issued to blow up over 50 schools in the national capital. On receiving information about the bomb threat, police, bomb disposal squad, dog squad and fire department team reached the spot. However, no suspicious object was found in the investigation.
In May, an unattended bag was discovered near gate 8 of the New Delhi Railway Station. Following this, bomb disposal and dog squads were rushed to the scene. The Delhi Fire Services (DFS) also dispatched a fire tender to the location. However, no suspicious items were found at the site
