Several shopping malls and hospitals in the national capital received threat emails on Tuesday. The Delhi malls including Chanakya Mall, Select CityWalk, Ambience Mall, DLF, Cine Polis, Pacific Mall, Primus Hospital and Unity group received threat mail stating, "The Chanakya Mall, Select CityWalk, Ambience Mall, DLF, Cine Polis, Pacific Mall, Primus Hospital and Unity group received threat mail stating."

Police officials were informed soon after threat emails were received. The Delhi police initiated an investigation immediately after being informed. Bomb Disposal Squad and fire tenders have arrived on the spot. No bomb has been detected yet in any mall.

Meanwhile, speaking about the threats received by the hospital, a Delhi Fire Services (DFS) official said that a call was received at 1.04 PM from a hospital in Nangloi and another from Primus Hospital at 1.07 PM in central Delhi's Chanakya Puri informing that they had received bomb threats.

Fire tenders, bomb detection teams, and police rushed to the spots. A thorough checking is being conducted, the official said.

Earlier in May, at least 60 schools across Delhi-NCR received a bomb threat via email, setting off panic among parents and faculty and prompting frenetic searches.

The bomb threat triggered heightened vigilance across the educational institutions, with police vehicles, ambulances and fire engines spotted outside the campuses.

On May 12, two Delhi hospitals received bomb threat emails including Burari Government Hospital and Sanjay Gandhi Hospital.

In another similar incident, two Delhi University colleges on May 23 received bomb threats which later turned out to be bogus. According to the Delhi Fire Service, calls were received regarding bomb threats at Lady Shri Ram College and Sri Venkateswara College.
