Satyendra Jain Gets Bail
Earlier last month, Jain, along with five other individuals, was arrested by the probing team and was later remanded to judicial custody on August 19. In its statement, the ACB alleged that the tendering process was deliberately made technology-centric to favour Euroteck Environmental, a firm allegedly supported by Jain.
The five other arrested individuals include Udit Prakash Rai (IAS) and former CEO, DJB; Ankit Srivastava, former contractual consultant of the body; Nagendra Yadav; Raja Kumar Kurra, owner of the firm; and Pankaj Verma, proprietor of M/s Srijanhar, reported Live Law.

ACB Alleges Manipulation Of Tender Conditions
It alleged manipulation of tender conditions and criminal conspiracy in the tendering process, raising serious concerns. The probing agency has alleged that the private firms were in contact with the public servants to manipulate the tender process.

The ACB had claimed a money trail where commissions were routed through intermediaries to the bank accounts of various accused persons.
