Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to launch multiple development projects in Delhi on Sunday. He stated that the people of the national capital now seek a government committed to the city’s all-round development and public welfare. PM Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for various development projects worth over Rs 12,200 crore in Delhi, aimed at improving infrastructure and connectivity in the national capital.
In a post on 'X', formerly Twitter, PM Modi said, “The people of Delhi now want a government completely dedicated to the welfare of the people along with the all-round development of the capital. With this resolve, I will have the opportunity to communicate with my family members here today at around 1 pm.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 13-km section of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Namo Bharat corridor, spanning from Sahibabad to New Ashok Nagar, with an investment of approximately Rs 4,600 crore. This stretch connects to the larger RRTS network between Delhi and Meerut, marking Delhi's first Namo Bharat connectivity. The new corridor is expected to significantly ease travel between Delhi and Meerut, benefiting millions with high-speed, comfortable, and reliable transportation.

Additionally, the Prime Minister will inaugurate a 2.8-km section of Delhi Metro's Phase-IV, between Janakpuri and Krishna Park, valued at Rs 1,200 crore. This is the first completed stretch of Phase-IV and will enhance connectivity for commuters in West Delhi areas such as Krishna Park, parts of Vikaspuri, and Janakpuri.
The statement also mentioned that Prime Minister Modi will lay the foundation stone for the 26.5 km Rithala–Kundli section of Delhi Metro Phase-IV, valued at approximately Rs 6,230 crore. This corridor will link Rithala in Delhi to Nathupur (Kundli) in Haryana, greatly improving connectivity between the north-western regions of Delhi and Haryana.

Additionally, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation for a modern new building for the Central Ayurveda Research Institute (CARI) in Rohini, New Delhi, with an estimated cost of Rs 185 crore. The new campus will feature advanced healthcare and medicinal infrastructure.
The facility will include the Administrative Block, OPD Block, IPD Block, and a dedicated Treatment Block, providing an integrated and seamless healthcare experience for both patients and researchers.
