Earlier on Wednesday too, these metro stations remained closed till 6 PM amid the heavy students protest at the Jantar Mantar and nearby sites. The authority advised the commuters to follow the guidelines and plan their travel accordingly to avoid any inconveniences.

The metro stations have been temporarily closed by the authority to minimize the gathering at the protest site as they are close to the Jantar Mantar. Apart from this, these stations also witnessed massive gatherings on Monday during the CJP's 'Sansad Chalo' march. However, the DMRC later closed four nearby stations to ensure less chaos at these stations.

The protesters have gathered at the Jantar Mantar protesting site against the recent paper leaks, especially the NEET paper leak. The young protesters have demanded the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and monitory compensation for the families of the students who died due to the paper leaks.
