Delhi Metro Phase 5 Stations List: Under Phase 5 metro projects, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has begun the tender process for the construction of the Yuge Yugeen Bharat National Museum underground metro station. This underground metro station will be constructed at a cost of Rs 206.5 crore. In view of the Central Vista project, this station will be constructed on priority basis. This underground metro station will be a part of the Indraprastha-RK Ashram corridor of Phase 5A. A proposal to build 18 metro corridors in Phase 5 is under consideration with the central government. The length of this would be 206.5 km, jagran.com reported.
It is proposed to complete this project by dividing it into two parts. Under this, these three corridors are to be constructed on priority basis in Phase 5A at a cost of Rs 11,150 crore. Its total length will be 15.8 km, which includes Aerocity-Airport Terminal-1, Tughlakabad-Kalindi Kunj and Indraprastha-RK Ashram (Central Vista Corridor). The first two of these projects are the extension project of Swarn Rekha (Tughlakabad-Aerocity) under construction in Phase 4.
At the same time, Indraprastha-RK Ashram Corridor is an extension project of Indralok-Indraprastha (Green Line) of Phase 4. This corridor will be completely underground and its length will be 9.5 kilometres. There will be eight stations on this corridor, including Yuge Yugin Bharat Museum Metro Station. Yuge Yugeen Bharat National Museum is to be built in the North and South Block, which is a part of the Central Vista project.
As per jagran.com, the Network Planning Group has reviewed the projects of all three corridors of Phase 5A and it can be placed in the Union Cabinet for approval. After getting approval from the government, the tender process will start for the construction of Indraprastha-RK Ashram corridor and its other stations.
