AAP 'Explosive Expose': Delhi minister Atishi has announced that she will be doing an "explosive expose" on the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday (February 3). The "expose" will take place at 10 am tomorrow, the AAP leader said in a post on social media platform X (formerly) on Monday, while urging the public to witness the promised revelation.

"I will be doing an explosive exposé on ED at 10am tomorrow! Watch this space…," Atishi posted on X on Monday. The announcement comes amidst the tussle between the ED and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over summons to the latter in connection with a money-laundering probe linked to the alleged Delhi liquor policy scam.

Earlier, on Saturday (February 3), the ED approched Delhi's Rouse Avenue court and filed a complaint against Kejriwal, who is also the National Convenor of AAP, for not complying with the summons issued by the central probe agency. On Friday (February 2), the Delhi CM had skipped the ED's summons for the fifth time in connection with the money-laundering probe related to irregularities in the Delhi excise policy (2021-22) case.

The latest ED summons to the Delhi CM followed the fourth summons, which he had skipped on January 18. Prior to skipping the fifth summons, Kejriwal had ignored the ED's notices to appear befoe it on January 18, January 3, November 2, and December 22, calling them "illegal and politically motivated".

In its sixth charge sheet filed in the case on December 2, 2023, naming AAP leader Sanjay Singh and his aide Sarvesh Mishra, the ED claimed that the AAP used kickbacks worth Rs 45 crore generated via the policy as part of its assembly elections campaign in Goa in 2022. Singh, who is a Rajya Sabha MP, and Delhi's former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia are already in jail for their alleged involvement in the scam.
