Delhi-Mumbai Expressway: The travel time between Gurugram and Vadodara via Delhi-Mumbai Expressway will be completed in 10 to 12 hours instead of the usual 20 to 22 hours after the completion of the tunnel in Kota, Rajasthan. Mukundara Tiger Reserve is in Kota and the tunnel, which has reached its final stage, is being built with a lot of caution so that wild animals do not face any kind of trouble. The Delhi-Mumbai Expressway is being constructed to improve connectivity between the country’s financial capital Mumbai and the national capital Delhi. This eight-lane access controlled green field expressway will be built at a cost of Rs 95 thousand crore.
The section from Gurugram to Dausa of this 1380 km long expressway has been officially opened. The expressway starts from village Alipur near Sohna in Gurugram. The section from Dausa to Kota before the tunnel and to Vadodara after the tunnel has been completed. Not only this, the construction work between Vadodara and Mumbai has also been completed to a large extent.
